A new feature is coming soon to Facebook- a dislike button. Facebook is finally considering the adding of a dislike button. Users have been asking for a dislike button for many years and finally Facebook is working on it. Almost everyone feels the urge to click the Like button to show friendliness and empathy. But, there are moments where clicking the Like button seems inappropriate and you still want to express some kind of empathy and togetherness. The so-called Dislike button would offer the ease of a single-click response precisely for such moments.
You often click the Like button when any Facebook friend posts about his/her marriage or newborn baby or new job. But what would you do when you read an article about the struggles of a poor man or if any Facebook friend posts about his/her divorce or loss of job? Surely, an alternative to the popular Like button is needed. The so-called Dislike button would help in two main ways:-
- The Dislike button would allow users to really disapprove of certain posts and images that they truly do not like
- Also, the so-called Dislike button would allow users to express empathy and companionship at times of distress or unfortunate events.
